Located in Towson, Prologue works to create opportunities for those with behavioral health needs and those experiencing homelessness in Baltimore County. Their services include: psychiatric rehabilitation program, health home, residential rehabilitation program, supported employment, homeless outreach program, targeted case management, supportive housing and peer support. Prologue also has a homeless outreach program for unaccompanied youth under the age of 25. These programs meet individuals where they are, engaging people on the street, in the community and in shelters. During Lent 2020, our parish had planned a service project at Prologue, Inc. Unfortunately, this needed to be cancelled to keep people safe during the early days of the pandemic. Your donation will help Prologue continue their work despite the pandemic.
Since Baltimore County Public Schools have been virtual during the pandemic, many of the food services provided through the schools have been unable to reach their clients. Between March 20, 2020 and January 8, 2021, the SSN has distributed over $2.8 million in food and essential supplies to students and families living in poverty. In addition, they have mailed grocery gift cards to students and families in dire need who are unable to access distribution sites. Their work continues. Your donation will be used to provide food, essential supplies, and grocery gift cards to county families in need.
