You are. No matter who you are, where you come from, or where you are in your spiritual journey, you are welcome at St. Joseph Parish.
It is easy to follow along. The first pages in the missals (found in every pew) offer a step-by-step guide so you can fully participate.
The Catholic Mass consists of two parts: the Liturgy of the Word and the Liturgy of the Eucharist. Simply put, in the Liturgy of the Word, Jesus feeds us with His words and teachings through scripture readings and a homily. In the Liturgy of the Eucharist, Jesus feeds us with Himself, as we follow his death and resurrection, culminating in the celebration of the Eucharist.
When you come to St. Joseph Parish, you are part of a community where the sacraments: Baptism, Reconciliation, Anointing and so on, are as fresh and relevant in this modern, digital age as they were 2,000 years ago. We celebrate that Jesus’ presence in the Eucharist can speak to each of us no matter how broken or empty we might be.
Even if you haven’t been in a while, the Lord wants you to come back. The priest can help guide you but more information can be found here:
